Since 2009, our commitment has been to eco-conscious, natural, and organic beauty. We care for our clients as we desire to be cared for ourselves, promoting healthier living, a lighter environmental footprint, and innovative sustainable beauty methods.
Our commitment to quality of life extends to our employees as well. As a business we have chosen to employ our stylists rather than just lease a chair to any stylist. What does this mean? It means that our stylists are employees, we pay all payroll tax, fica, and unemployment. It means we provide sick pay for all employees, and have paid vacation. We have chosen to pay a living wage to all of our service providers, and employees. We provide a front desk staff to support our clients, and service providers. Why do we do this? First, it helps provide a consistent quality of service with a unified set of safety focused products. Second, paying taxes help the safety net of our society and for our stylists. Bottom line, it’s the right thing to do. We believe in treating our employees the same way we treat our clients, with respect and dignity. We believe our stylists are able to provide the best level of service when they feel secure and cared for.

SO WHO’S Hazel?
You may have noticed a photo of our namesake presiding over the salon. Hazel is salon owner Tara Roberts great grandmother. Hazel was a fierce force to be reckoned with and we hope to channel her bold character into everything we do.
